In this workshop, we will work on figurative sculpture with an instructor who will guide your sessions. You can start at any time. Your 4 classes will be held once a week for one month, starting on your first day.

Sculpture is a slow technique that requires patience and skills that each person will develop over time.

The objectives of this course are for students to explore the possibilities and technical limitations of clay, to understand the basic structures of anatomy and how they are transferred to a three-dimensional plane, creating a positive connection with sculpture.

For those who already have experience, we will work directly on portraits with a model, but to begin, it is best to focus on studying plaster casts. We will use a constructive method, which allows for clarity in the process and precision in design. Once the facial features are understood, we can work on the skull and then the complete portrait.

Once finished, the pieces can be hollowed out and fired as an option, or simply left to dry within their structure. The firing cost will depend on the size of the piece.
