CUT AND CARVING OF CRYSTALS.
This course is designed for those people who, having made jewelry or not, have a special interest in knowing the different possibilities regarding the cutting and polishing of stones and minerals, giving them any shape and carving that we want. Through different techniques we can, in addition to cutting the stones, make inscriptions, designs and engravings on the minerals. Later we will polish our works to give them an optimal shine and finish.
Saturday. Hours from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
PROGRAM
– Safety and Hygiene.
– How to cut stones and minerals. Precautions, time and different degrees of hardness. Reach the “break limit”.
– Design of basic and classic styles.
– Faceting and elaboration of half spheres and rhombuses.
– Polished and polished. Different finishes.
