This course is aimed at people who want to start or who already have some knowledge of sculpture.
We will work with clay as raw material and we will base ourselves mainly on figurative sculpture, relief, bust and human portrait.
The program is based on exercises to reach a first sculptural level (as long as the student does not already have a demonstrable advanced level of the subject). The exercises will be defined to increase the level and complexity of the projects.
The human figure and anatomy will be basic for knowledge and progress in the quarter.
You will learn to add color and texture so that the finish of your sculpture is favorable and consistent with it.
The course period is quarterly and at the same time extendable, this means that if the student wishes to continue after one or several quarters, there is always the possibility.
We will always work to develop and learn the technique while students create their own style, with sculptural pieces of interest.
The sculptures will be fired, as long as there is no risk of internal air and explosion in the kiln.
This course includes:
- Clay, tools, first cooking.
- You can take your finished pieces.
