Expressive Drawing Human Figure

Come draw in a unique space in the center of Barcelona. We offer these sessions guided by an expert teacher who will approach the classes as work sessions on both techniques and expressiveness.

You don’t need previous experience, just your drawing materials and a desire to learn.

In our space, we offer the opportunity to work with live models or static plaster sculptures if you want to practice more elaborate drawings.

We have wood, easels, and comfortable chairs. We will also create a delicate and inspiring work environment with music and the opportunity to enjoy a glass of wine.

With Marco D’Amico’s teaching methods, we aim to create a didactic and interesting yet technical environment so that you can develop an interest in the subject of life drawing.

Each session will have a similar structure, starting with short poses that allow for ease and gesticulation, progressively moving into longer poses to focus on details.

We will work on gesture, proportions, basic anatomy, line, shadow, and composition.

This workshop focuses on expressiveness, connection with the material, and understanding the gestural rhythms of the human figure, while mimesis takes a backseat.
