MODELING IN WAXES.

This course is designed for those people who, having made jewelry or not, have a special interest in learning about the different plastic and mechanical possibilities of wax, in order to subsequently melt and make jewelry, or any other artistic object.

Lost wax is a technique that allows us to make any object and shape, to obtain small series or a single piece. There are a lot of ways to make the designs, so we will investigate what is the best and most practical way to achieve our goal in a relatively short time.

Saturday and Sunday. Hours from 12 a.m. to 4 p.m.

PROGRAM

– Safety and Hygiene.

– What tools are used and how to use them correctly.
– How do you cast silver, bronze and other metals?
– Machining and carving of cabochons, rings, earrings, bracelets and pendants for necklaces.
– Preparation for subsequent setting of stones.
– Repair broken pieces of wax, unions of fine and small elements.
– Modeling and elaboration of pieces by dripping.
– Polished and different finishes.

This course includes:

Basic materials, tools. Foundry included of 3 pieces.
No previous experience necessary
You don’t have to bring anything.

Material Bronce is included, silver and gold is not included.
