FAQ – TERRA I PELL –
CERAMICS CONTINUING COURSES
-When can I start the continuous course at Terra i Pell?
New students are welcome on any day of the month, it is not necessary that it is the beginning of the month to make a monthly bonus of 4 classes. As long as there are places in the schedule you choose, you can start and from the day you start we write down 4 weeks. Send us an email with the day and time of your choice and we will confirm our availability.
-How long does the continuous course last?
The minimum registration is 3 months, to give us time to progress in the program and so that you have finished pieces to take home. The maximum time – as long as you want! The more you are with us, the more we can share our knowledge with you!
-Can I combine WHEEL AND HAND BUILDING classes?
As places are limited in both, it is not possible to combine the two modalities in the same monthly payment.
-How do I book in the continuous course?
You can make the reservation from our website or in the workshop itself. To access a continuous course at Terra i Pell, you must make the payment at least one week in advance.
-Do I have to bring something to the course?
If you have signed up for WHEEL, we advise you to bring old clothes and shoes to change; If you do HAND BUILDING, you don’t need it! We will have aprons and tools at your disposal.
-Can I take the pieces I make?
Of course! They are all utilitarian, there is nothing toxic about them and you can use them in the dishwasher and microwave
-Is it possible to stop the course?
If the student decides to stop the course, the money will not be returned.
-If I lose a class, is it possible to recover it?
Within the monthly bonus of 4 classes, we can make a change of day, as long as there are free places at other times, but ONLY 1 CHANGE, that is, you can make up one missed class per month, as long as you notify that you cannot come 24 HOURS IN ADVANCE
There is a period of 1 month to recover missed classes (always within your monthly bonus period). To notify that you are not coming you can do it by email or by phone.
-When can I collect my pieces if I have finished the course?
Your pieces will be ready according to the rhythm of the workshop and the clay itself. Some drying and cooking times must be respected (we do not turn on the oven for a single piece, we must wait for it to be completed with pieces from more students or people from the workshop). Once your pieces are out of the kiln, we send you a message from Terra i Pell, based on that message, we give you a ONE MONTH TERM to collect them, if you have not collected them in that period, we will have to recycle them.

-How do I formalize my registration?
Enrollment is confirmed by full advance payment for the course. You can make the purchase from the HYPERLINK website

-How can I get information about the courses?

-What is the cancellation policy for paid registrations in this type of course?
A cancellation made at least 30 calendar days prior to the date of the course will have 100% of the amount paid restored, by the same means that was used to formalize the payment. It is also possible to request the change of date to a subsequent course (linked to availability of places). Less than 30 calendar days and more than 16 calendar days prior to the course, no refunds are made, but we will try to place you in the following courses with available places.
Cancellation notifications less than 15 calendar days prior to the course, date changes or refunds are not possible. Although we always try to find solutions as far as possible…
If the course is canceled by the workshop, then the student will receive 100% of the amount paid; or you can request a change of date to the next course with places available.
However, it does not apply to reimbursement in case of force majeure, which we understand are for reasons beyond the control of the school (fires, floods, pandemics, epidemics, demonstrations, terrorist actions).

We make gift vouchers for ALL COURSES
How do I request the gift voucher?
Through the gift voucher section on the website, you select the course you are interested in giving away, send us an email and we will contact the person. We need you to tell us who offers and the name and email of the person who receives the gift. The gift voucher is confirmed by full advance payment. We will send you the gift voucher by email once payment for the chosen course has been received. We also offer some “gift boxes” in our store, if you want to deliver a physical package, we make it beautiful.
Is it possible to make a gift voucher with an open date?
Yes, the date remains open, but it expires after three months. The gift voucher has the name of the person, chosen course and issue date. After three months from the issue date, the student will not be able to enjoy the course and no refund will be made.
In the event that the person who has received the gift voucher wants to make a change of course, he may do so, provided there are places in the requested course and he does so in writing (always within 3 months from the purchase of the Voucher )
In the event that a box with the physical paper of the Gift Voucher has been given, the student will have to present said paper to Terra i Pell, in order to enjoy the course.
The Gift Voucher is individual, it can only be used by the person to whom it has been given as a gift
